About Wefttora

Weft · Tora — the governed thread, bound by law

Wefttora is two ideas woven into one: the weft — the crosswise thread that binds an enterprise's siloed platforms into one cloth — and tora, an ancient word for law, teaching, and vigilance. Reuse across everything you run, governed by construction, watched with a tiger's care.

Weft is the thread that turns warp into cloth. Tora is the law woven through it. Together: reuse bound by governance.

The name

Two words, one promise

The name carries the product idea. Weft is the mechanism — the thread that crosses every warp. Tora is the discipline — the law that keeps the weaving true. Neither half works alone.

The mechanism

Weft

The crosswise thread that binds separate strands into one cloth — the governed thread that runs across an enterprise's siloed systems and platforms. Build a skill once; the weft carries it across every loom you already run.

The discipline

Tora

An ancient word for law, teaching, and guidance (Hebrew torah, Spanish torá) — and in Japanese, the tiger: strength and vigilance. Tora is what makes reuse safe: policy, approvals, standards, and audit stitched into every action.

Woven together: Weft is how reuse travels; Tora is why it can be trusted. Reuse bound by governance, watched with a tiger's vigilance, across everything a company runs.

Why we started

Agent sprawl is waste — and risk hiding in plain sight

We've spent years inside enterprise AI and transformation, in industries where getting it wrong has consequences — and we kept watching the same thing happen. One business unit stands up an agent on one platform; another builds nearly the same thing on a different one; a third buys a third. Everyone moving fast, and no one able to reuse what the others built or govern any of it. The same skill, written three times, three ways, with no shared audit. The industry calls it agent sprawl. We knew it as waste — and risk hiding in plain sight.

The advice was always the same: pick one platform and force everyone onto it. But we'd sat in enough of those rooms to know how it ends — you take away the choices teams made for good reasons, relocate the lock-in, and slow everyone down in the name of control. We didn't believe that was the trade.

So Wefttora was started on one conviction: a company shouldn't have to choose between keeping its platforms and governing its agents. Build a skill once, reuse it everywhere, and let governance travel with it — across every platform and business unit, without pulling anyone off the tools they chose. Reuse is the leverage; governance is what makes it safe.

What Wefttora is

The governed action control plane for enterprise agents

Define a skill once and reuse it across every platform, business unit, geography, and industry. Publish it into your own AI platforms — without pulling anyone off the one they chose. And govern every action: validated, limit-checked, approval-gated, and logged, with one audit thread from the rule that allowed an action to the record that proves it.

Keep the choice. Reduce the overhead. Govern the reuse.

Where we are

Governance enforced, not documented

A shared data model so every use case reuses prior work, a standards-currency gate that keeps each industry's rules current, and continuous checks that keep the engine governed — seamless across language, geography, and business unit.

Infrastructure for the agent economy

Software is being unbundled by AI. As agents do the work humans used to do by clicking through applications, per-seat software erodes. Wefttora is built for what comes after: not another application at risk of being automated away, but the governance-and-reuse layer the agent economy can't run without. When an agent replaces a seat, it creates a workflow that now needs identity, approvals, audit, compliance, and a shared data model around it — exactly what we provide.

A shared data model means every use case reuses prior work, so value per customer compounds with usage instead of resetting each project. Pricing follows outcomes and reuse, not seats. And distribution compounds: no vendor lock-in clears enterprise procurement, platform and system-of-record partnerships provide reach, and licensing / OEM opens a second revenue line — priced on trust, compounding on reuse.

Govern once. Re-bind anywhere.

Start with one use case — and watch the same governed skill travel across your platforms.
